Greensboro, North Carolina (February 25, 2010) - Tyler Bright and his Foremost Insurance 250f were headed for another podium in the Lites class when a nasty crash in the whoops section took him out of contention. Neese finished the Lites race in front of Bright with a fifth place finish and Bright took ninth. In the AX class both riders lined up at the gate, but Bright's injury proved to be more of a limitation than anticipated, so he pulled off the track after the start. Neese was as high a eleventh place (11th) but a misjudged triple jump would cause him to injure his shoulder. Neese finished out the race in fourteenth (14th) with Bright getting a sixteenth place finish (16th) even though he dropped out of the race.
Lites overall standings have Neese in third place in the west coast points and Bright and Futrell unchanged in first (1st) and fifth (5th) respectively in the east. In the AX class, Bright continues to lead the team with his eleventh (11th) overall in the standings, followed by Neese in fifteenth (15th) and Futrell in twenty-fifth (25st).
"It was a tough weekend for us both. We will have to see how we feel after a few days. My shoulder is pretty banged up and it looks like I will miss a few races. Hopefully Tyler will be feeling better by next weekend," commented Jim Neese, team owner.
The team's next race will be in Fresno, California at the Save Mart Center on February 28, 2010. Additional details are available at www.arenacross.comstarts
