Leslie Porterfield #1976 - Foremost Racing

Rider Bio

Leslie Porterfield is the 2008 AMA Racing Female Rider of the Year, holds multiple land-speed records and is a member of the Bonneville 200 mph club and has been riding and racing motorcycles since her teens. In 2007, she survived a crash on the Salt Flats of Bonneville at a speed of over 110 mph. The crash left her with seven broken ribs and a punctured lung. However, in 2008 she returned to the Salt Flats to break three records. Her achievements at Speedweek were documented for the Discovery Channel in Speed Capital of the World: Bonneville. Leslie was also the focal point of a Janet Biggs art exhibit entitled Vanishing Point that was shown in New York City at the Claire Oliver Gallery. Porterfield is also the owner of High Five Cycles, a motorcycle dealership in downtown Dallas, Texas.
